If I had a fairly loose setup, I’m not opposed to moving the console around. But, my entertainment system is extensive, and the wiring is all precise and such. It would be quite the inconvenience to always re-run all the wires. This feature is a blessing.

I’ve tested this out throughout the day, mostly with Rocket League. Remote Play to my desktop is flawless even with the highest setting. It actually exceeded my expectation. Keep in mind, however, my console and desktop are both a wired connection. But, even with my kid streaming Youtube, I noticed no issues…

My game consoles are hooked up to the main Television in the house. If others want to use it to watch a movie or play their own console, I can now go upstairs and continue to play. I’ve been playing Rocket League all day, and I’m having a flawless experience on an all-wired connection. I’ll end up using this a lot.
