I figure if I talk about a Mallah and the Brain series enough people will start to think its actually coming out. And then DC will be forced to do it.

I've also been on a strict TPB diet. I had a pullsheet that was almost as bad as a car payment. So I had to cut that shit out. Waiting for the TPBs helped a lot. Hell I can get them used on Amazon for $3 if I wait long enough. I've been reading the Checkmate series from a few years ago that way these last few weeks.
Yeah I agree with you about the art. But honestly the art in most comics is going to be good these days. The weird lines on the faces thing that Lee does gets old after awhile but for the most part I can dig it. And its not like I can do better.
Ok now that Wednesday has come and gone. What did you think of Stormwatch and Action? I had the same feeling after reading it that I did after reading Justice League. Where's the beef?
OK now that my post-Batman high is over.
Yes I totally agree with you.
Yeah I'm doing nine. I actually just realized I'm really excited about the Men of War book. I can't decide if I want Animal Man or not. Anyone want to convince me?
You and me both. And then I started thinking about some great big planet of nothing but pot. And got a little scared. Although maybe if there was a pot planet we could get drug lords to fund NASA, right?
God let's not give him any ideas. I don't think there's a dollar out there that Gene Simmons doesn't want.
In 1978 I was three years old. Evidently I told my dad I hated him and would never talk to him ever again because he wouldn't take me to see KISS at the Scope in Norfolk. He also grounded me for trying to paint my face like Gene Simmons with my sister's lipstick. KISS was not a good influence around my house.
No way. The kiddies want pouches. And huge fucking guns. And swords. Don't forget the swords. They can put them in their pouches.
The JLA felt like what it clearly was. Part one of the inevitable trade paperback. The story that was there was ok. Nothing spectacular.
They really did have a lot of drummers. Didn't they even have one named Elvis at one point?
Oh my fucking god. As someone who's life was shaped by comics and punk music I have to say this might be the coolest thing in the world.
Don't forget Cyclops' ability to hook up with chicks who are way more powerful than he is, act like a sanctimonious asshole pretty much all the time, and somehow manage to not get murdered by them. That's a freaking power right there.
"because if you go into battle, you must wear heels in you are a woman"
Is the ability to appear in every single Marvel comic book written every month one of his mutant powers? He must be freaking exhausted. Doesn't the poor bastard ever just want some alone time?
I think the reason they brought guns was so you could have Jessica and Pam look incredibly hot with a fucking rocket launcher.
I love the multiverse. That's my absolute favorite thing about DC. Even more than the giant gorillas. When I was a kid the back issues I actively looked for were the ones with the JLA/JSA team-ups.
My problem is I do tend to like everything. I really do. And I feel like I might miss something awesome like a Titano or Mallah and the Brain appearance if I skip an issue. It's got to be the OCD librarian in me. So I actually want to read the stuff.
