Why does his accent sound so fake, when it’s his actual accent? It’s like his entire career is doing a bad impression of himself.

OK, rookie question here. How is “latinx” pronounced properly?
That’s not what he said.
I’ve heard the narrative. I don’t see how the making of a game is at all relevant to the end-users. People don’t read into the manufacturing process of their iPhone.
Did you just equate a blog with the federal government of the most powerful nation on Earth?

You wish what? :P
She immediately makes a cool impression!
If you finished it in a vacuum it probably wasn’t that egregious. I certainly didn’t think so; given that I was high on the adrenaline of the last few sequences. I feel as if everyone’s opinions are colored and enhanced by the echo chamber hate that was going on about it.
I don’t get why so many people got butthurt over the ending in ME3. But then - I didn’t finish it until 8 or 9 months AFTER that controversy when Bioware tweaked the ending a bit. I found it a satisfying conclusion to the entire series...
I may be taking your joke a bit too seriously, but a lot of people have brought up questions like that, so:
The Epic of Gilgames is the oldest known written narrative story, if you exclude a few short “poems” from Egypt and Sumeria, but that’s more about writing than anything else.
Growing up rural, the issue is more that not all rural/southern people talk like that. It’s like depicting everyone who lives in a city as talking like JFK or Roosevelt.
I have to admit that I was on the fence about their sexuality. Don’t get me wrong, as part of the lgbt audience I absolutely loved the anime, but it felt like the writers always kept an “emergency exit” open.
Anime is weird to me. I don’t get why people love or hate it, except for that camp that just hates animation in general. There’s good anime, there’s bad anime. I like some shows. I dislike others. I don’t care if it’s “anime” or not. I care if it’s an entertaining chunk of programming.

She clearly assumed, wrongly, that Cho was a nice person who wouldn’t immediately turn around and use it as a way to make herself feel superior.
Because Cho took a lead in the #whitewashedout campaign, triggered in part by Swinton being cast in this role. She’s been very outspoken about this issue for a long time, which is great.
This is really shitty of cho, Swinton reaches out to her to ask why Asian people are offended, maybe she was trying to educate herself , and cho pretty much makes it all about herself and her feelings and has to go run tell that to the press.
I would have no interest in seeing her perform because it would just be staring at her while she stands there looking pretty in a corset.
This is the first time I’ve felt disappointed in a winner
