Why does his accent sound so fake, when it’s his actual accent? It’s like his entire career is doing a bad impression of himself.

OK, rookie question here. How is “latinx” pronounced properly?
I don’t think so, at all.
I don’t remember seeing that in the movie.
I worded that poorly, I think. My comparison wasn’t meant to be simply planet-for-planet, but to compare the intent. The Empire blew up Alderaan on a whim, as a demonstration. It was only chosen because they had Leia aboard, or else it would have been some other minor planet. But the First Order was specifically…
You take that back! He’s way more consistent and interesting than anyone from The Walking Dead!
Force Awakens didn’t “ape” A New Hope. It took cues from the entire original trilogy. People miss that. One example? People think, oh, they blew up the super weapon at the end, just like A New Hope! Nope. They blew up the super weapon by flying into it and setting off a chain reaction - just like Return of the Jedi.…
That’s not what he said.
I’ve heard the narrative. I don’t see how the making of a game is at all relevant to the end-users. People don’t read into the manufacturing process of their iPhone.
I mean, all of the Xenomorph’s capabilities are being shown for the first time in Alien. I mean first we find out about the facehuggers doing what they do best. Then we find out they have acid for blood. Then we find out they lay an egg for a Xenomorph to burst out of your chest. Then we find out they grow to…
In the original script the alien was all tentacle-y. It didn’t become the Xenomorph we all know and love until after production started.
Maybe scenes establishing those capabilities were also in this earlier version of the film.
Negan is the worst part of the show. I miss this show actually being about zombies. Wish they’d kill him and move on. Give us a goal to strive for, like a cure or a huge community in DC or something for them to reach.
It told a bridging chapter between what we’d seen and what we expected to see.
Dont get me wrong, I think JDM has done a fine job...to a point. Its just Negan is one of those characters that in print is fine, but to actually see and hear him every week its just a little much. Its like cartoonish at this point how over the top bad he is. And as I saw another commenter point out, he’s basically a…
Negan does not make the show. In many opionions his character has been one of the biggest problems with the show. His character got old after a few episodes. We get it. Bad guy.
What exactly was accomplished in this highly anticipated episode?
I think your sense that the ending was abrupt was intentional also. That’s kind of a horror movie trope in and of itself
Is it hyperbole to think there could be some Oscar buzz? Maybe screenplay since they’re typically not fond of the genre for Best Picture?
This movie was made for the audiences like that, it was by design so the actions in the movie actually follows what they would say they do towards the screen.
