I’m amazed there’s no The Last of Us in there. That’s the game I’ve seen many couples play and discuss together, even if one of them is not a gamer per se. I even have a friend couple that got a PS3 mainly for the Blu-ray player and got Fifa, Motorstorm... and TLoU. And that’s it! Like, they got these games because

Here’s an alternate header for this article:

Interesting. You mean like the trans discourse?

What does ‘hrm’ at the end of the opening paragraph mean? I looked for it but only found “Human Resources Management” which I don’t think quite fits.

This was an amazing article! Thank you very much guys! More like this, please!

Literally Crawford on Twitter: “The worst take you could have from watching me go all-in on Twitter 2.0 is that my optimism or hard work was a mistake

How’s the 3D Blu-ray movie playback? I really enjoyed that on my previous PS VR headset when my 3D TV crapped itself and no more 3D TVs were being manufactured to replace it. Looking forward to that.

Before reading the article, just by looking at the title: Bet my soul this was written by whomever the new trans on Kotaku’s payroll is.

This comment is so underrated

Her ruined legacy? What are you talking about? She made an incredible saga that will continue to be enjoyed millions of children around the world for its lessons on the power of friendship and standing up for what’s right. Then there’s the movies which are well done and will probably hold up for decades to come. And

So the guy makes an effort to show his commitment to finding a SO, then goes ahead and SUPER LIKEs this person in particular, which is, like, the most straightforward way to indicate interest. What does she do? Says she’s floored but procrastinates on the match, because she’s not sure if shejust want to talk to

The final stretch in the article read like that THEY TOOK’UR JOBS!! episode from South Park. Good competition is always good, no matter the lifeform it comes from.

Think of it as buying a 4K restored collector’s edition of a movie you love. You’re fine with the DVD? Great! You don’t HAVE to get the 4K disc. It’s the same movie! But if you want to check out that sweet restoration that took some major time and resources to complete and makes the movie look brand new, even better

Great list! Also, for the sim-inclined gamer, may I also suggest a tactile transducer AKA bass kicker? It doesn’t matter if you play in a chair or have a full blown sim rig, a bass kicker is the best add-on you could have for immersion. The best thing about it is you don’t have to turn the volume of your system way up

And don’t even get me started on this happening with physical copies! My PS5 DEMANDS that the PS4 version of Elden Ring is installed everytime it boots up if the PS4 disc is inside (which is needed for the PS5 version to run). I’m forced to have both the PS4 and the PS5 versions installed, and if I uninstall the PS4

So she could’ve walked away with 15,000 if she accepted the first “bonus”. She didn’t, and in the interim of 11 months, Jennifer Hale worked on the dub. Later, almost as to not let Taylor completely out, they offered her some VO —at this point, most likely for some random dialogues for the different Bayonettas that

You should’ve watched the immediate next episode, “Lawnmower Dog”, instead of watching the first one twice. If that doesn’t sell you on the series, nothing else will. You can use your Labor Day to do it.

What in the actual hell??? Why am I learning about Mike’s passing on the comments section about a hateful forum in Kotaku? What the FUCK, Kotaku??? He was the dearest writer left of the old guard on the site and why am I learning of his passing like this???

I get you’re outraged, but, come on... the developers are not in the same boat as the legal team. Nintendo does this as well (they’re arguably worse, even), but it has nothing to do with the quality of their games, which is, generally good. RDR 1 & 2 are both highlights of the generation they’ve come out on.

I was reading this on my phone and I totally forgot it was a comment. I was like, yeah, “a quality Kotaku article, it’s been a long time!” Then it ends and I’m like Ah, right, this was a comment.
