Am I the only one that thinks Monsters U is great? Definitely not on the level of, say, Toy Story… But better than all the ones you listed, and I'd say better than eve A Bug's Life.
You are being called Robin, and I am to be killing you.
I agree, Kiteman is obviously the best.
I guess my ideal would be The Long Halloween. It pretty much single-handedly sucked me into Batman. (sidenote: I really need somebody to make a Long Halloween movie)
I love hearing how people's views on comics were formed as young'uns. It makes me happy inside.
My dislike for Dark Knight was mostly about Batman himself- it didn't feel like Batman to me. He took was to much joy in beating people to a bloody pulp. Got hard to read it when my head was trying to justify his actions on almost every page.
So far, agreed. I've been going through the graphic novels (comic books? Whatever) that are considered "the greatest". Some of them- Sandman, Watchmen, I think even V for Vendetta- live up to their reputation, at least somewhat. Some are ok- Maus was great 1st issue but then fell flat 2nd. Others- the Dark Knight…
I'm a little late to the party (okay, more than a little) but I'm reading through Neil Gaiman's Sandman series for the first time. And holy crap- I am in love with this world already and I've barley started issue 2.
Hot Rod was amazing. I loved it with a passion. Technically, it was mediocre- the story needed a re-looking and the love story took itself a bit too seriously for it's own good- but enough of the jokes got me laughing harder than I have in a while that I fell in love with it. Any other movies (besides pop star) that…
Is 1602 generally considered a good Gaiman book? I really liked it, but I'm curious if anybody else did.
How's American Gods by Neil Gaiman? I've been looking at it, and I really like the guy's graphic novels, but I'm not sure how well it would translate into book form….
