That was exactly my thought with Spiderman 2.  The map was exactly the same, except expansion of two zones, then the new suits.  It all could have just been an expansion pack.

Even though she wasn’t involved in the slightest with the project. Granted, I never expected what is basically an adaptation to get a nod...it still feels out of place to essentially ignore the best-selling single-player game of 2023.

It wasn't forgotten though. It's literally the best-selling game of the year besides CoD. That's all there was in gaming for like 3 months, before the summer releases starting coming out. The game outsold all nominated ones.

People acting like moving on from a game that came out in February is some kind of a win, like stick to your values if you don’t want to play it then don’t, but it sold over 15 million copies, and that’s before hitting the switch which it just did. Revisionism is crazy

This. I have a co-worker (non gamer, computer illiterate), literally walked into the store and just bought the the most expensive laptop there.. which of course was a gaming laptop. Uses it for spreadsheeets and internet browsing. /facepalm

Agreed, though it should be noted one of the driving motivators for them not fixing the problem is possibly greed. Why fix it when they can sell you a replacement.

As someone who’s replaced his own set of joy con sticks and many other pairs for friends sets of controllers - I can confirm the right joy-cons also drift, not just the left. So I believe it’s just an inherit fault of the design.

I’m pretty sure this is for adaptive triggers, not a hall-effect joystick.

Joy Cons are already fixed free and permanently world wide.
