This time he’ll throw “quilted” toilet paper at them.

Damn good root beer floats, too.
When was the last time the House Republican Leader moved out of lockstep with McConnell? I don’t recall that ever happening. I’ve never even heard a peep of disagreement from the GOP Whip, arguably a more powerful position than the Leader. McConnell runs the GOP show, and has for a decade.
McConnell is and has been directing the activities of the entire GOP on the hill ever since he became Speaker.
I’ve visited many Congress-critters’ official websites (this is AOC’s site). While the main House.gov website has a database driven log of each vote tally, the individual’s site should have a log of how they voted for every single bill in front of them. The system should also have an API so that they can execute…
While I agree with her anger, her blame should sit squarely on Mitch McConnell. He’s the one who united the entire GOP voting block to oppose ANYTHING democrats put forward for eight years under Obama. He’s still doing it. Don’t blame Trump for that: the rank and file GOP really don’t like Trump that much - but…
It’s Trump’s fault that we have a nuclear dialogue going on between to narcissistic lunatics posturing for temperamental photo shoots, rather than a fully informed collection of experienced political negotiators who might actually come up with a deal that both sides might honor longer than the duration of the whims…
Did it really affect the viewers? (I was in high school at the time.) Not very much. It was great water-c0olor and morning talk show fodder for a year, but very few looked to the skies over it - if you didn’t live near a minute-man installation. It DID provide the requisite hysterical political posturing for…
I’m really sick of pre-announcing teasers which will announce trailers.
Record your kids for amusement, sure. But record your parents and older relatives to capture family stories about growing up and learn about their siblings, parents and grandparents. (Mobile phones make it simple.) Those stories about your family will be lost permanently if you don’t. Sit them down to identify…
The POTUS would NEVER have even sat down with Kim until they got nukes. Why on earth would he agree to give them up, especially with a guy who he knows is just as untrustworthy as he is?
He won’t win nationally. He could win locally, and in the process turn Texas purple. That would leave the only GOP strongholds being Florida (which could drop out if felons turn it purple, too) and Arizona. THAT would serve his country better than splitting the Democratic focus.
I’ve known people who worked Sonic (for tips) and earned more than they did serving at Dallas’s top steakhouses. But this was before you could pay with a credit card, which, I suspect, seriously cut into the number of people who tip carhops. I still tip carhops (with cash) because, unlike most fast food, carhops…
How many of the folk who crossed the aisle (on both sides) are up for re-election in two years?
I love this idea. Let the coaching staff be the university’s grad student program. Let them hire million dollar coaches, but they have to grade research papers too.
Sounds like every single high school in Texas. We had one good coach who also had a masters in Mathematics. Good coach, fantastic math teacher. That was the only time it worked out that way.
Make a big-budget, spiritually uplifting hollywood blockbuster about Jonas Salk. A good screenwriter can find a lot of ammo.
As opposed to last year’s tax cut, where the GOP decided to give $22.5 Trillion to rich people over the next 10 years.
I watched Die Hard again this weekend.
