Well they made up their own contest as well, so I'm not really sure its that much of a surprise.

The point was... $1.8 MILLION+ for a no-name unreliable car that has old technology and doesn't even offer decent traction control is bullshit. This isn't the 80's Zenvo..

"Screw zis...Next time it snows, I'm sending Shultz to do all ze plowing...."

I hereby offer 100k Jalop bucks for someone to post a (non 'shopped!) Acura ZDX on fire. Or a Crosstour.

Because that's not racing. That's BS! If your driver can't drive worth a shit he shouldn't have a chance to win a championship. If Johnson wins the most races he should be a champion. That's what racing is about. It's not about handing out freebies to drivers who can't drive.

Fuck Nascar! They fucked it up so much it's no longer worth watching.

North American Eagle (Former f-104 Starfighter) is still working on their car. Jessie Commbs (former Xtreme 4x4 host) just set the women's land speed record in the car in December. IIRC she went 400mph, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Land speed vehicle has no set definition so it doesn't have to look like a corolla.

4,000lbsX4 tiresX900hp=potential energy? I think someone durred their physics.

do I own it? no. however, i've been here since it was dirt, and now we've had 2 F1 races here. i'm a manager here, not just a guy selling hot dogs. so yeah, it's my race track. it's all of ours who work here.

The skit was like one of those SNL skits that just keeps going and going and you wonder when/how it will end. And then it went on for what seems like another hour.

I want my minute back.

It would've been great if they followed Rover's original "cheap car"-concept rather than BMW's "premium-compact"-concept. I really liked the idea behind it and the way it followed in the originals spirit with updated technology and solutions rather than just style. But I can't see any car following in the original

Kind of confused how she wasn't instantly shot and killed. Police dream of golden opportunities to shoot people like this.

F1 technology hit the human drivability singularity sometime around the 1980's. If ground effect were left unchecked, and the turbo motors and qualifying tires lasted more than a single lap, a human would not reliably be able to extract the maximum capabilities of the car. G-forces aren't the sole matter, as one thing

Perhaps if the canopy is pressurized?

I can no longer understand the cold war. We are all just rednecks at heart, so the damn war could have been settled by a "hold my beer and watch this."

I recognize that accent.

Nah, I blame the 1994 Freightliner... I mean Dodge Ram. Once they started making trucks catered toward contractors (OMG, laptops fit in the center console! Knobs you can adjust whilst wearing gloves!) is when they blew up in size.

Oh, I dunno! The patient can complain to he Board of Healing Arts, and I'll assure you those people DO NOT PLAY. There'll be a through investigation, because it's mandated. If there was no warant, and no consent, there'll be hell to pay.
