Sometimes, a bad experience soils the joy you were after. I have a rare car that has been at the same mechanic for seven months. By now, I don't have the most positive feelings towards it. If it's ever getting repaired (or maintained, really), I will have to start from scratch making this a joyful experience.

You’ll be surprised. People make decisions like these based on far more petty reasons than this.

You may be missing the point. In this case, the union is better because everyone with experience is part of the union. They aren’t inherently better at building things, sure, but people with experience building things are generally better at building things than people who don’t have experience.

Yeah, but Musk is well-known to be an inveterate liar. You can’t believe anything he says, tweets, has a hand in marketing for, etc. He’s either lying or whining about people calling him on his lies wherever he says anything.

damn this GPU shortage!

It’s gonna be a hit for like the 2000 weirdos that are actually willing to fork over the money for a giant, unconventional, and less useful truck purely for the off the wall overly retro-futuristic design & look-at-me factor. But for the general truck buying populace, I agree. It’s gonna be 100% DOA.

You’d have to really REALLY love the absurdity of the CyberTruck at this point to choose it over the Rivian, the Lightning, the Hummer EV or the Upcoming entries from...Chevy and Ram. This thing is going to be DOA when it arrives. It’s just too unconventional to find conventional buyers.

I know why it’s delayed — it’s still rendering!

Pre-emptive strike before the fanboys attack

Million got no raises. For years.

it’s called “solidarity”

I support those workers when the’re struggling, because if they win it makes the entire working class stronger.

pretty much everything the working class ever achieved was due to solidarity

As for “greedy”.... you mean the CEO and the rich people that own the company

Because it isn’t their Vibe...

A white coal-roller in Texas is part of an in-group with police, and not to be bound by the law. Cyclists are “environmentalists”, an out-group not be afforded protection by the law.

At this point we can confirm there are some connections, but have yet to see evidence of a city official directing the officer on the scene as to how to handle this particular situation.

Pretty much.  They probably put them on dealer tags the whole time too instead of registering them.

Those loathesome little Saturn sedans JUST. WON’T. DIE.

The 90s era Pontiac Grand Am. Those damn things are like cockroaches and I still see them constantly.

The Chevrolet/GMC GMT400 (a.k.a. 1988-1998 and some heavy duty models up to 2000) pickups.

We design all of those Trail Rated elements from the ground up… it’s not just a marketing term.

Probably more likely than people fleeing the country.  But I’m sure there has to be one or two of those as well.
