I had the front passenger tire come off my car once.

I tinted my backup lights but offset it with a brighter LED so I have more light output despite the tint. Since they are only for backing it shouldn’t impact anything.

If Wranglers were rare or even somewhat uncommon, the wave would be fine. As it is, the wave is just a tedious chore you are going to be doing every thirty seconds or look like an asshole.
