Can concur. Lived in Staffordshire for a couple of years. Bought a car which was useful for driving to Wales, Scotland, Alton Towers, Blackpool (yes, we made it out ok).

Same here. Tried shifting without clutch on a whim. Realized it’s pretty easy in my 96 Civic. Wouldn’t do it all the time, just when I was feeling too lazy to push clutch pedal in.
