Its funny (well, not funny, but....) that it was exclusively right wing americans saying that - the actual people of Manchester had absolutely no issue with it, see her as being a survivor of the attack as well, and appreciated all the many times she showed solidarity and compassion with the victims.

To be fair - they tend to buy shorter versions of black/grey skirts or roll them up.

I was doing some temp menial admin today (data entry, printing and enveloping letters, doing/printing/attaching labels, checking lists against other lists), and let me tell you, it was FANTASTIC. Don’t get me wrong, I think if this was my full time job for the rest of my life without a more fun side gig that would get

I am temping at the moment. A couple of the people in my agency who I frequently end up on the same jobs with are actors. And not really young ‘just left drama school’ actors, people who have been working in and out of the biz (plays, TV, short films etc.) for decades.

A lot of the young people on the streets of London estates carrying knives are doing so because the other young people on the streets of London estates are carrying knives, and they want to protect themselves/show they’re not someone to be ‘messed with’.

Truth.

So have I (my boyfriend likes it ‘to watch people be destroyed by their own egos’).

Was going to say exactly this.

I think Noel could have ruined it if he had done it with the same ‘in character’ he did Never Mind the Buzzcocks. Like ‘Waaaaaaay zany surrealism, pandas eating skittles’ etc. I was presently surprised in the way that he totally toned it down to just the odd quip and generally acting like a normal person.

Truth.

You know things are bad when its genuinely hard to navigate walking around without tripping over sleeping homeless people.

They have these in my hometown (Manchester, England). But they pop out of the ground - not normally there, but they pull them up at night for when everyone is out drinking.

Only if they use Ming Na Wen like in the original (because I love Ming Na Wen).

I always love when people on Big Brother refer to their ‘journey’. ‘I’m not like the others, I’m not here for the fame or the money or the attention, its all about the journey for me’.

The fun thing with Fitz-Simmons is that Fitz is basically the soppiest, most over-dramatic and hopelessly romantic character ever, but manages to also be an absolute badass about it.

I can’t remember the last time I bought a watermelon, I’m pretty sure it was never. I can remember the last times I bought gum, or pens, or lip balm, or one of the many times I would have lost shit due to this structural issue.

Does shit not fall through the holes?

I enjoy the random and unnecessary piece of trivia that the press briefing room used to be a swimming pool, almost as much as I enjoy the fact that I already knew that because it was mentioned in The West Wing.

Plus people who weren’t the most rational and reasonable in the first place can still decline.

Yeah, I agree with this. Shipping real people.... serious boundary issues/difficulty with the fantasy-reality situation/a bit creepy. Straight or gay doesn’t really make a difference as far as I can see. And when I say creepy.... I don’t mean that they are predatory, or bad people, and I fully get the desire to model
