Oh yea if any one deserved their ending it was Chase. Also realizing it may have also been a screw you in the form of his death really only serving to to advance and give a send off to Troy which probably wasn’t something that fit well with Chase’s ego.

What the man who lied in a women’s obituary to better himself might have written a fake review for attention. Heavens to Murgatrod!

Depends on the situation, some communities can be much more proactive then others (some internal drama fromUCB in NewYork springs to mind) and trust one victim. That being said, given how tied this is to the fanfest issue and some of the”advice” that was given to the victims I am curious how well known it was.

While I don’t think innocent until proven guilty is a bad position to have, it should be done when A) it’s not used to silence victims and B) it’s not used on a person who should have been done long ago because they were guilty of other things, lying, bribery, and overtaking someone’s obituary to focus on your self

Damn it man have my upvote.

Oh dear god, how many more disgusting ertoicised reviews are there!?!?

Thanks for the correction, either way always some way these people can rationalize and survive

Yea by large I agree, from a critical perspective though a problem the show will have in the long term is first we view series as a whole now which the writers, for understandable reasons, didn’t really. So while the later episodes do get some flack Season one Hank at times is pretty blatantly racist and sexist and

Jesus nerds can there be one type of community you create that I can feel comfortable joining without contributing to toxic masculinity!?!?

Ah the classic I have black friends bait and switch.

Who knows the specifics, apperntly one lives in Chicago so probably more of a work connection and knows nothing of Harry’s personal life, but such a quick response to completely bail seems that something terrible was happening, be it the aforementioned harrasment r just generally terrible treatment.

Historically, this happens a lot with bystanders who not directly involved assisted at least tacitly in a cover up to make the id’d person, a generally unlikeable fuck, the whole scapegoat. The fact that one accusations lead to direct punishment means at least decades of rumors and likely it being an open secret in

Yea most power is the access you have, his being at the right place right time let a lot of Alamo people let hi do his thing because he was Harry, and probably felt they owed him something or some such.

I think to add to this a bit while the 5% due atrocious things they can only get away with it and commit such high offense because the other 95% let them get away with it. Actively ignoring Andrea looking away speakers just as loudly as defending these assholes.

Condolences, as I assume you are from the area and this is likely going to destroy the community, it seems very unlikely a lot of other people didn’t know about this, it also sucks when great things evolve into there own thing and are destroyed by outside forces.

Yea still love a lot of the show and more just a few moments that are uncomfortable rather then whole unwatchable episodes. still I think a problem for the show is Hank is not really a straight man and not that funny on his own so it only holds up well when it deals with more vague universal issues rather then deeper

Yea king of the hills has aged very oddly. Some of it is still hilarious slice of life stuff, some of it is very 90's, and some of it just becomes very uncomfortable because of how are attitudes have changed on some issues.

Exactly further more given the channel switch and the fact they pay for syndication rights make this objectively a stupid business descion, and that’s without the automatic raise actors get after seven seasons on a show. Nashville by contrast had a much higher back end, songs from the show to be sold, and easy cross

I had forgotten about that, but yea seems like a clear fuck you considering how all the other ADAs got at least something when they left, and I believe left of their own volition.

Hey surprised no British shows other then downton. Somewhat similar is they way the killed the character of Gerad in Peep Show. Killed by the flu and then given a terrible funeral where everyone said how weak he was. It also seems like this was a joke as he was mostly a bit character and by all accounts the writers
