Yea a very very shitty take. I live in the Chico area and Sierra Nevada has been absolutely huge in all kinds of charity and community engagement including being very generous to local charities I have helped out with. The ipa choice was probably made because of how popular they are here and how easy it is to share

Shout out to all the other SF to Chico transplants

I am sure this will be handled with tact and respect for all matters involved unlike every other time they failed to say anything insightful about a sensitive issue.

This needs a lot more love

If it makes you feel a little better it is the progression of things. Things that were huge like glam begot punk which begot new wave which begot hair metal which begot grunge etc. Once the 90's turn fully classic there will be a bit of a revival and it will influence the next big trend.

Seriously, I hate to be that old guy yelling at the lawn but I can’t even think if any post 2010 traditional rockband that has a small degree of mainstream success. Not inherently raging on teenager it just... feels weird

Dear God I had forgotten Zwan was a thing. If you want some classic Corgan Assholery just look up some of his comments on his time in that band.

I agree with their overly ambitious stuff like Melancholy and Machina but Siamese Dreams, the singles and a ton of Adore still keeps pace with alot of the classics of that 90's era.

It can be two things.

She also had a small role in Parrie Home Companions which according to everyone on set Anderson was uncredited co-director to Altman

While no where as into The Fall as their contemporaries in the Manchester scene this is still on of the celebrity deaths that has a huge impact on me. I think the obit lays out perfectly that while a huge asshole and at times questionable talent he maintained his vision and tried to put something interesting and

Granted, though still can be a bit of a slog and take you out of the story if it becomes to excessive.

I think it depends on how they approach it, melancholy dark antihero can get a bit annoying and a bit overdone. One of my complaints about the books so there is alot of darkness for darkness sake. What I like about Geralt is that he can have a genuine range of emotions and how his mindset at the time really plays a

How so, both the books and the games portray him as kind of an asshole and some who makes several mistakes and poor choices, constantly subject to racism and violence, hard to see the mary sue aspects of that

Yea they are pretty atrocious though very much an adaptation of the time, i.e this is popular with nerds so lets make something that kind of adapts these elements even though it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I feel in this day and age it stands a much better shot given the fan expectations and studios being a

I remember hearing it might be animated which would allow for alot more of the exotic locals and monsters.

And to further nerd it up, the short stories explain that mages actively alter their physicality to appear attractive to add to their mystique

If it has strong fidelity to the source material it shouldn’t be a problem. In almost all the source material the aristocracy is presented in pretty harsh terms. Even the most nobel and effective rulers are shown to commit pretty heinous acts and not excused for them.

Yea I made it to the fifth anniversary and a bit further before I tapped out, while I like they added some continuity it got to myth heavy and serialized. I actually liked the book and think that the focus on more side stories in this universe is the better way to go then constant threats against the whole town.

I really want to be happy about this but also am super burned out on adaptations and kind of wish a thing could just be a thing and not have to be sold in a widely different format. I think it’s a good sign the creators are on board but cannot even imagine if that unique flair could work in any kind of a visual medium.
