Dude - he had little to do in Season 3, and almost NOTHING to do in Season 4, and was begging for a job at one point. The writing staff failed on this show.

With Erlich gone next year, expect it to happen far, far less.

No, not necessarily. Most stuff - like Kramer and the Marlboro man, George eating out of a trash can, Kenny Roger's neon sign, etc. had NOTHING to do with previous shows or jokes.

It's not working in SV season 3 onwards because the same thing would not be happening to the same people (characters) for YEARS. People would move on, throw their arms up, give in and get a job somewhere, etc.

"No one can ever really grow or learn or evolve. Pied Piper can never succeed without immediately failing and starting over. If they ever did succeed, it would be a different show. "

They're stretching this show out for too long. I predict season 6 will be its last, after next season reviews are even harsher. After it goes off the air, everyone will agree Season 1 & 2 were the best.

You still have to be able to use an IDE. Now they act like he can't use the bathroom w/o permission.

What hurt the show the most is that Erlich had almost nothing to do - to the point where they made fun of that fact numerous times. Problem is, Erlich was THE funniest part of SV, because he basically encapsulated ALL of the douche bags in Silicon Valley — hence his comedic value.

Yup - bad writing. Too many characters.

Thing is, startups in silicon valley have a VERY short shelf life - 18 mo. on the long-end, when companies want them and their tech. It would have been BETTER for them to not skip ahead months and months and instead do it largely real-time…like an 80s sequel, where the sequel starts immediately after the previous

I think Monica's lessening role in the show has everything to do with the actor playing her boss unexpectedly dying in Season 1. I bet - if we knew the details - that death drastically sped up developments in the show by a couple years. Events that happened in season 3 would be happening in season 5. As for Monica's

Nah, I didn't. I voted in a red state that would have voted for him no matter who I voted for (kinda like how Clinton would have won California and New York no matter what). The people in swing states - working class people in very pro-union industries - THEY elected Trump.

Unions are a horrible idea. They never work. They only sorta worked in the early 1900s because working conditions were so poor, SOMETHING had to be done. But as soon as Unions got a foothold in society, corruption took over, and that led to virtually every industry getting away from unions if at all possible. It's not

He WAS ONLY chosen because he was Black. 2008 was Hillary's year. But when the magic negro Obama showed up, the Dems knew they could finally get a black guy in office, in hopes of permanently securing the minority vote. "Psssh! Women will ALWAYS be around. But blacks!?! We gotsta gets ourselves on of dem while da

And THAT is why you liberals lost. Those states STILL rely on blue-collar jobs more than anything else. Freakin' crybabies. Sooooooo smart, yet they can't understand not everyone in the US lives in like 5 states with bloated salaries and cost of living to match.

No one who "makes it" lives anywhere BUT Hollywood. Even NYC residents hightail it to California when they get a chance. Better weather, more acting gigs, they're treated great there, year-round, they can be around other celebs 24/7. ALL. OF. THEM. DO. IT.

That's significantly more work. I doubt they'll do it. If they DO do it, I bet they get down to 6-8 eps per season.

"Yet with a Conartist at the helm with a wing of nazi fascists, climate deniers, corrupt politicians, and racist militia they wisely spun their show into one where the future is unknown and their show is significantly darker as a result."

You know…they could have just ignored the election altogether. Nothing says SP has to cover elections in a realistic way at all.

I felt like the Danish stuff was somehow the reference to Julian Assange or something, screwing with America by releasing information…but it just didn't make much sense. It was a VERY POOR plot in that regard.
