I plan on doing one as well. Doing the conversion has as much appeal for me as well, but I can see someone afraid to take this on going for this. He won’t get $11k though. If he does I’m going to start building and flipping them as I have the means for painting, which is the hardest part of this kit.

as much as I don’t trust VW reliability, I’m going to build one of these someday. It’s probably a fair price considering what’s gone into it. Assuming it’s done properly it is worth close to the asking price. Find a good Jetta, buy the kit, add in paint and you are almost to the price of admission on this thing.

I stayed in OC last month on the Mon/Tue before bike week. We were in Dewey for a wedding the weekend before and had a night to kill. I wouldn’t have stayed if it were any later in the week as we stayed on 5th st. I despise loud bikes...and that’s coming from a person that rides.

I think the asshole is obviously the guy that got out of his car being confrontational...don’t do that and this doesn’t happen.
