thing is that’s the market for them. There’s another guy in CA that does conversions too.

you don’t need A/C in SoCal.
This is what the market is for these, anyone voting CP is just unaware. The Syncro is a rare bird and these done properly sell for around this mark. I drove to CA a few years ago to pick one up with a friend. It was a similar conversion with a Subaru H6, lifted, Recaro seats, new canvas etc. The owner sold it when he…
there is only one I know of locally near the refinery I ride by. When I drove across country a few years ago I was mesmerized more than any adult should be by the huge wind farms in plains.
maintenance is certainly a key and German cars require more of it. But the strangeness of VW/Audi wiring and electrical gremlins, in my experience, keeps me from considering them.
all that work and they chose Taurus headlights. There are so many other choices that would have looked better and more proportionate. Better headlights and a more subtle color would have at least made it bearable to look at....but these projects are forever CP.
My experience suggests you either have zero or all the problems. Some of the problems are strange and require dealers to figure out, even seemingly simple issues that shouldn’t. Most used car managers at the dealers I service don’t like getting them traded as they usually cost more to recon. I will say this, the…
Incentives work better, it gives people a better sense of value and helps sell to those in negative equity and other various odd predicaments. It’s helped domestic mfrs. move metal as well as Hyundai/Kia gain more market while working toward no longer being considered also rans but rather cars cross shopped with…
look at older used Audi’s on CL. Most are ragged broken junk just as the VW’s are. They don’t last and become continuous sources of issues. VW/Audi under warranty, great car...just don’t keep it any longer. Far less MB and BMW product in similar states.
my ex wife’s family was full of UAW in Lansing. I remember mentioning the non union plants in the southeast and that those employees were happy and well paid. The sister in law said “those people are just happy to have jobs” to which my response was, aren’t you? Difference being they have a better chance of having…
If you plan on keeping it past warranty expect a mind boggling amount of required service for strange shit. More bells and whistles mean more shit that will fail. Subaru is the way, still simple and they hold their value.
some are already governed by trucking companies, ever get stuck behind one passing slower traffic? It’d be an unsafe nightmare to make them even slower than they currently go as the traffic obstruction would be even worse. Who thinks of this shit?
rent a car as needed. But I’d look at a Subaru Legacy wagon if I were to advise a car.
reverse might be broken...like her shorts.
funny, yesterday’s Malibu was shown to be priced right on the market and got CP. This one is probably market priced too, slightly high maybe, but is a shoe in for NP.
The Olds variant Intrigue was wider IIRC....
why is the interior pillar trim not black to match the headliner and doors? Looks terrible. Who gives a shit if the paint code is from Bentley? It’s just paint...seems to be a lot of references like that. I don’t know who this is but I take it he does a lot of these videos? He comes off like a snot to me, I don’t…
my Grandfather did that to us with a 66 Chevelle convertible. It was my Grandmothers car, sat for some time then he had it painted, interior redone and a new top along with getting the mechanical bits proper. A few years later it was suddenly gone, everyone wanted it and he sold it to a stranger for $1500, you read…
