Most of the reason for this is the products marketed to clean and “condition” leather are bunk. Soapy water is all that’s required, and never use a conditioner. The only thing the conditioner does is trap dirt. You can’t condition top coated leather from the top side, and pulling the seats apart to condition the raw…

sadly no, they’d hate the car more knowing that the transmission will break, often. When they start using a different trans (either 2016 or 2017) than maybe. Mine is due for it’s second set of clutches at just under 40k.

I had a rental, it’s not an atrocious car. Wouldn’t buy it, but I think it’s good that there is a viable option for a brand new car at that price point.
