Why would you feel bad? I have thick and naturally curly hair. I too went to Jamaica as a kid, and having my hair braided like that for a week was awesome. For once my wild hair was under control. I don't think anyone is saying white girls can't wear their like this, just acknowledge where the tradition came from.
