I really sympathize with those girls. My Dad did much the same thing; he behaved so terribly that both my sister and I stopped visiting. He then turned it around and tried to paint us as the evil ones who were just trying to hurt him (I was 14, he was an alcoholic).

And his grandparents! I was so scared they would die before at least one of the guys got justice.

I haven’t been following this case since January; does anyone know if the state is likely to appeal? And if so, what their grounds will be?
