Boo fucking hoo. There’s no good reason to go back to office, and your real estate prices are especially not a good reason.

This is why I have been happy to live outside the social media ecosystem for over a decade now. Every so often I get curious what might be going on with it and then I see one of these articles and feel good about my choices. 

Temple of Doom’s portrayal of the villagers and the surrounding community isn’t always, shall we say, culturally sensitive—not entirely surprising for a movie made four decades ago, but something that might stand out for a first-time viewer in 2023.

I don’t have a particularly favorable opinion about contemporary AI, but I’d like to think this chatbot decided to deliberately sabotage its duties in solidarity with union efforts. Workers and bots, unite!

Replacing humans on a help line with a non-functional AI is already deeply capitalist dystopian. Doing so because you would prefer to burn it to the ground than allow a union to exist is next level. We're about one bad headline away from having to hire shadowrunners to sort this out. 

You’d be surprised how many non-profits are really just scams or basically normal businesses that are looking to maximize money to be able to pay their executives as much as possible.

So stupid. Surely one of the biggest appeals of having a helpline, is being able to talk to someone that can empathize with your situation - This is how therapy works!!
