People are stupid.
People are stupid.
And can we remind this person that Elizabeth Warren was a very strong Clinton supporter and the strongest voice against Trump.
Remember when Trump would say that he “loved low information voters”? Yeah.
The stuff said about Warren in her last election was really ugly. So yes, it’s aimed at female candidates, who are perceived as unacceptable.
Hillary was never going to fuck them as raw as Trump is about to. And I don’t take any joy in that. I don’t want millions of people who voted for the guy to suffer. I don’t want anybody to suffer. But I do wish they wouldn’t be so goddamn short sighted.
they don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.
I prefer to think of the political spectrum as a horseshoe. The far right and far left are closer ideologically than median Dem and GOP voters
The article could be shortened to the following explanation:
Trump is unlikely to advance any of the ideals favored by Warren/Sanders supporters. Believing he’s any better than Clinton literally requires forgetting that the last 3 decades even happened. She spent 3 decades in public service, he spent 3 decades making money on the backs of little guys.
What makes you think that the president has the authority to do such a thing?
By the time the 2020 election rolls around he won’t have to worry about angry voters because they’ll have put so many roadblocks in the way of the ballots he’ll win easily.
Democrats ran a campaign that was flawed at best. No doubt. But at the very least they were the grownups in the room. Trump was promising them a fantasy. He’s gonna bring back antiquated jobs. We’re gonna be great. It was a classic case of having people drink sand out of dehydration and desperation.
Hillary was never…
Except you’re wrong. Clinton spoke out against Wells Fargo too (it was an easy target, after all). More importantly, Clinton and Warren both supported strong regulation of finance, while Trump campaigned on deregulating finance. That he’s filling his administration with GS alum should be no surprise. The only way…
I want to forgive 3P voters who went for Stein, but I *really* can’t. She took Bernie’s “rigged” argument and ran full steam from Clinton with it. She was also helping give a platform to the continued DNC leaks...
What did your 3rd-party vote accomplish? Are you one of the people who just didn’t want to be blamed for what happened over the next 4 years, so you basically chose to abstain and let the morons above decide instead? GFY
Their reply really exposes that it’s not that they didn’t agree with Hillary’s policies, just her blatant belief that she deserves to be in her position. Voters like this just want to take a powerful woman down a peg. It’s boring, and infuriating all at once.
I think a lot of these people think that now that Trump has been elected that they’ll never have to hear about anyone who isn’t a white guy again. Gay marriage is over and women in positions of power will just step down so white guys can take their places. They don’t understand that shit isn’t going to happen. They…
“...especially when he is eating KFC.”
“Clinton tries to ally herself with the “common folk,” but she comes of as pandering and fake. Trump does it too, but at least he seems real, especially when he is eating KFC.”
Given Trump’s post-election actions, I’m sure they feel as dumb as we think they are.
