I got started on sourdough a month ago! I was frustrated because you can’t buy rye flour in my town (not just because of corona, nobody carries it), and sourdough is the next best thing. I’ve been learning all about the stretch-and-fold technique and hydration percentages. But here’s the result:

I’ve been making discard pancakes every day this week! I use it for pizza dough pretty often. Tortillas and soft pretzels are also pretty easy

Not a fan of Aldi articles. They're a regional store, not nationwide.

The biggest problem with aldi is they might as well be in Saudi Arabia. The closest one to me is 400 miles away.

Doesn’t France actually regulate cheesemongers to ensure safety and quality? We don’t do much of that in the US.

You can’t use a dozen eggs in a month?

Nice deep cut! One of my all-time favorite movies

As far as I know, Bread Face isn’t a racist piece of shit, so she’s way better than Logan Pail and Peepeepie will ever be. None of the things you listed in the last paragraph have much of anything to do with intelligence.

Soap is actually better than hand sanitizer, but yeah

I am disgusted and a little intrigued now

So can someone describe what walnuts taste like? I’m allergic so they literally taste like itching to me.

Shows like Firefly break this system

Do your grocery stores sell exotic things such as rye flour? I’m about to give up and order a bunch online because *nobody* carries it in my midwest city of half a million people. Apparently I’m the only one living in the midwest shithole Allison describes. Then again my town is home to the Focus on the Family
