I am not going to devote my time and energy to how inane this episode is on all fronts, especially since Brandon covered it so well.
Saw the movie this afternoon in New York. B/B+ feels right. It is not my favorite Ghibli movie, but it is gorgeous to look at it, bittersweet and emotionally resonant without being the least bit cloying. (But yes, I did find it to be a little slow, especially in the first half.)

Even though Glee Club 2.0 has some of the old members, I am not invested in them at all. Really, I just don't care. Were there any stakes going into Sectionals tonight? Why should the club be champions again - because they're "outsiders," etc.?
