Who has witnessed his team actually win a world series. Plus he doesn’t have to associate with Cubs fans, which is a positive even if he didn’t get to enjoy watching his team win the WS.

I’ve maintained this since reading the book in high school: Christopher McCandless was a stupid, naive, unprepared dink who thought he could piss in Nature’s face and get away with it. He got lucky a few times, but sooner or later if you don't respect Nature it will kill you dead.

Then you haven’t been paying attention. GSU is already getting the land and has a huge on-campus space planned of which Turner Field will be a small part of the footprint. They are taking blocks upon blocks of property. And everything GSU has done for the last 20-30 years has been a huge success.

Only the area immediately surrounding the stadium and then west. To the east is Grant Park, which has about 15 renovations and 5-10 tear down and rebuilds going on right now in a small area of Summerhill near the Grant Park NPD. I cannot wait for the Braves to move and GSU to move in and reinvigorate the area.
