The thing that bothers me about people trying to make nigga the ubiquitous and innocuous version of "this guy" is that non-blacks could easily use their own group's racial/ethnic slurs. I see what you're getting at, but if that is the case and she was trying her hand at satire, twitter is not the medium to use as it can be grossly misinterpreted.

I think it's people's annoying "need to know" that gets them in trouble and has them insulting complete strangers. It can go too far like it did earlier this year here in Virginia. It is "disrespectful and humiliating" and it needs to stop.

Just because Winamp is closing doesn't mean you can't get the software. I love older versions of Winamp. It's a very compact piece of software that does its job well; since audio codec formats have changed very little and Winamp supports all of them, their shutting down won't impact anything or cause the software
