Can we add airlines to that list?
Can we add airlines to that list?
I’m so sad that people who made their living screwing others over might get screwed over. It is such a tragedy. /sarcasm
Yes, I’m buying into his “dream”. “The same stuff but with more pixels and higher framerate” is fine, but the prospect of something radically new that we’ve never experienced before is much more exciting.
That’s why I’m more worried about XBOX. Sony, at least, still has enough first-party and second-party (fuck, even third-party) support that the big new launch game WILL sell the system along with The Last of Us 2 and FF7R. Unless XBOX has a killer new app of their own to back up Halo and Forza, the new XBOX becomes a h…
if that hundreds of millions of dollars investment in CELL leads to game audio finally being worth a damn....after 20 years of audio stagnation in gaming...
Both Mark Cerny and John Carmack have that same.... knack... of fluently explaining extremely technical ideas and nuances in a way that not only sounds intelligent, but is organized well enough to sound so conversational that you swear you totally get what they’re saying, even if you don’t understand it 100% of the…
It’s gonna take some good marketing to get the average consumer to actually grasp how game changing that SSD on the PS5 is. That machine is literally going to change how devs construct their games on a fundamental level, and you can bet that Sony’s first party titles will be taking full advantage of that. It’s fast…
Cerny’s presentation was very interesting. I recommend watching it if you’re at all interested in some of the more nitty gritty details, and the reasoning behind Sony’s decisions.
It does a lot more than impact loading times..... , just alone the levels and material textures can be more diverse as the PS5 with its quicker SSD would be able to stream/switch in more assets.
You know when you move around a level in this generation and you see some muddy textures or a low poly model that after a few…
Cerny talking PS5 specs is ASMR to me
I see BC as a nice to have. I already own a PS4 (as well as an OG PS3 and a PS2, and a PS4 Pro) so I can just keep that. I guess for people hoping they could trade their PS4's in for a PS5 and save a few bucks while keeping their libraries playable this is a bit disappointing but saying its a deal breaker is kinda…
People need to get over this teraflops thing. It’s like comparing HP on cars. A car with 100 more HP does not mean it’s going to do faster lap times than a car with 100 less.
I don’t know. I always got the idea that before anything else America seemed to push rabid individualism as it’s core ideal. And that fits that girls response to a T (the contempt for doing something that inconveniences her for a greater good). I mean the other “American Ideals” often seem framed off of that one. At…
Cloth and no sunroof are better anyway.
It’s probably for the people like me. To me, any manual is better than an auto. I know, call me crazy, but even in a VW DSG, I find my driving experience much more enjoyable in a manual. Plus, I’d probably just change bushings or other DIY fixes instead of compromising with an Auto. I’m special, I know.
People may not realize this, but a console hasn’t been the most powerful gaming hardware compared to an average gaming PC in literally 20 years (PS2 was probably the last one). Ergo, the XSX release will represent the largest single jump in base spec in two decades.
Here’s a sobering figure for us PC gamers: a quick perusal of the Steam Hardware Survey report page will reveal that the architecture Microsoft has specified here outperforms approximately 98.9% of all PCs on Steam period.
Just add an achievement in the game for this new virus and people will have helped solve it by the end of the week
If people have such a problem with it then go ahead and wait until every part is released. I’m sure Corona Virus, four more years of trump, climate change, random bus accident, cancer, etc. will be very kind to you and totally not affect you in any way. You go ahead and wait it out.
Desert sand formations tend to grow very slowly and in areas with very little rain like Death Valley, can be preserved intact for centuries or longer. Though not as spectacular as other natural formations they contain valuable information relevant to fields like geology and climatology because they function as time…
