Both Microsoft and Sony are huge corporations (and not individuals, agreed) with massive capital to acquire anything they could possibly need to evolve in the games industry. It doesn’t change the fact that Sony has created a huge gap that MS will have a lot of difficulty to close.

Considering MS was never involved in the cinema and music industries, I doubt they will ever catch up. Sony has been in those industries for a very long time, and the closer games get to movies, the more they will be able to leverage and incorporate all their existing technologies (motion capture, audio recording,…

It’s unfortunate for some, but very understandable. The Spiderman rights belong to Sony, and Insomniac has always worked mostly for Sony. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony acquired Insomniac in the future.

As far as the auto industry is concerned, do you know if the tariffs imposed by the US will also impact Canada? For instance, could Asian or European manufacturers stop sending certain models to Canada as they would normally come on the same boat as the cars built for the US?
