Have any Jezzies had a gel manicure? Pros/cons? I'm considering it. I always chip regular manicures and it gets on my nerves but I also don't want to get trapped in a manicure cycle like with acrylics where once you do it once, you're pretty much locked in.

Honestly, I've never had much success on my own at a bar - I think the online situations are better suited for that (but the safety precautions are still important!) I just think I don't project the right "image" (ie fun, easy going, open to meeting people) when I'm on my own, and I feel more awkward approaching

You have to pick your locale - it's easiest if you go somewhere where there's dancing, since you can move from grinding to making out pretty easily, so get out on the dance floor. If you like the guy/girl, they're giving you "I'm into you signals," etc, take a leap - just start kissing them at the bar! It will seem

Aww! Why do you hate it? You shouldn't hate your wedding dress! Any possibility of getting a new one or are you stuck with the one you've got?

Bars + alcohol often does the trick. Be drunk enough to have fun but not so drunk you're crying (ha). Don't expect anything to come of it, so you can be pleasantly surprised if it does and not disappointed if it doesn't. Use protection! Go to his place so you can make your own exit instead of kicking someone out.

I would. Just "Thank you for hosting such a lovely shower, I had a wonderful time celebrating with you, Bride, and Bride's friends. Looking forward to seeing you again at the wedding!" She did presumably put a lot of effort into planning and hosting a shower, which couldn't have been easy especially if she's 70, and

I don't think it would be out of line to send a private message, especially because you keep in touch. He may not be able to face putting it up on FB right now, but I'm sure he will appreciate your kind words, whenever they come. Something simple like, "I heard about your loss and I am so deeply sorry. Please know

Raven Symone rocked it! I would just be careful - with darker skin, I wouldn't think it would work as a DIY job, I'd go to a stylist that has experience with both ombre and with darker skin/hair colors and hair dye.

Wow. That is legitimately one of the creepiest things I've ever heard. Just go on eating your spaghetti, hon, while our MUMMIFIED DOG looks on.

There is an option to buy some stuff here - if you live anywhere near a major metropolitan area, there will be a few clothing store. What you'll want to look for (ie, what will be easiest to integrate into an American wardrobe) are kurtis and kurtas here - long tunics, as you say. You will get stared at, but less so

I am so glad OMG SashaBelov has returned, and I don't miss Emily. She just bugs me a lot, and she *is* lazy. Candace Cameron Bure also gets on my nerves but I really dig the show otherwise! Sometimes it's so ridiculous its hysterical.

An 8 year old (depending on breed) is probably old enough for a senior blood panel at the vet. It's possible something like his eyesight or hearing is going and it's making him nervous/upset and he's trying to stick by his pack leader for protection. I hope he's ok!

Oh, okay, Spain should be totally fine. I just wanted to caution you in case you were going some place where a) showing leg might be inappropriate or b) people get dressed up in terms of suit/tie when they do anything for school.

I'm sure it depends somewhat on the country you're going to, if you're willing to share. I would bring some basic things for the first week or so and gauge from there what other people are doing. If you were SUPER dressed up in heels for a long day in the lab, I imagine that wouldn't necessarily project the best image

Where in India? You'll have so much fun. My thoughts:

I'm a contemplator (of doing a dual MBA/JD). What's holding me back are the absurd prices, and the employment stats/glut of attorneys in the market. I don't know anyone now, in law school or just graduating, that is actually getting paid for law related work. My friends currently in law school are working unpaid

I feel like something is wrong with me that I really don't understand how to use a vibrator for clitoral stimulation. Do you just... hold it there? As it vibrates? With no build up? Would that make you orgasm or would it just be like if your cell phone is vibrating against your hand and you just get used

Gretchen from Project Runway was definitely not likable.

This was the woman shown in Season 1 (episode 6 if anyone wants to go check it out on their own). It's not the same woman - even the voice is completely different.

The real issue is that when he lost his job, he should have gone to get it adjusted. They can adjust how much you need to pay based on income, but they can't do that if you don't ask. And it sounds like he waited until he was seriously in arrears before he even asked about getting it changed.
