I highly recommend the book “Good Catholics.” They talk about how evangelicals hijacked the abortion issue from Catholics once they realised it was good politics for them. It’s a fascinating and infuriating book.

That’s all Catholics, not just women. I’d be curious to see the breakdown of Catholic women vs. Catholic men.

White Catholics are significantly more likely to vote Democrat than white evangelicals. I’d be curious to see this information broken down by sex, though.
