I actually didn't like Dakota Johnson in the pilot but she's totally putting in her fair share of work now. She's really loosened up and that's huge for a comedy like this

This is an excellent observation. In my pilot review, I talked about how I was worried they would make Ben too wacky, but they've kept everyone so grounded. Up All Night fails for me because everyone is too real (except Ava), and it just makes me notice how boring my life is. I don't need another reminder
