This is awesome! I've always hated having to read a whole piece just to get an idea about how good a car is.

Does this look abnormally tall to anyone? The back looks way better than the front for this reason.

All of the twitter apps look the same. I have one called Osfoora, and it looks almost exactly like this. These are the reasons why Twitter asks people to stop making apps. Makes it easy for us though, because we can pick the cheapest one and have the same features mostly.

You know, you are absolutely right, and in the back of my mind, I knew this were true. If they can put retina displays in all their other products and not raise the price, then further on, the same will be for the MBP. It just takes time for this concept to become affordable, but it will as you said.

Well, one of them croaked on stage, as per Microsoft events normally go.

The iPad isn't bad connection-wise, you just have to be willing to spend money on some cables. If you buy multiple iPads over time, and they don't change the dock, then you can keep them as long as they work too.

Last sentence hits the nail. They will go to year models instead, and the iPad (and ATV, iPod, etc.) are all examples of that. So my guess is that it will be "The New iPhone," and later on it's just known as the mid-2012 iPhone.

Because the second customer will see the first adjust the screen and do the same. It's a domino effect.

Yet millions of people do! Crazy huh?

I got a plasma for Christmas and it's fantastic. Still don't have HD satellite, but gaming is great and looks beautiful.

I just put a fake number. Easy and simple way to deal with a problem and not complain about it.

My thoughts are that this is the sign of the future and a way for Apple to politely increase prices. They have always been good about keeping prices the same, but prices will go up, and great innovation like this will do it.

They paid for it to be manufactured because no one else can contractually.

I agree. My Macbook only has 320GB, and I still have 130GB left.

Do you trade yours in? I've had mine for almost three years now, and I'm screwed if it croaks after AppleCare is up. I wish I could afford to trade in and buy the newer one each year, but that's probably $200-400 each year.

Aluminum Macs are matte silver/grey.

While this may seem like a big problem to the average consumer, the average consumer is not the one buying this laptop. Chances are if you can afford a base $2200 laptop, you can afford to upgrade it to $3500 if you want the upgrades.

I use FF on Mac. Safari is also really good, and the Mountain Lion update will make it even better with an omnibar and lots more.

What about those who can't afford the plan? I can afford a $200 smartphone, but not the plan.

It's not like you'll be playing games in Retina display (except Diablo III I guess).
