Yeah, if you like more puzzle-oriented gameplay, it’s great! I only borrowed it from a friend back then and didn’t play through the whole game though, I’d buy it but I’d rather buy it for a current console.

I beat Breath of the Wild on Wii U, and then bought a Switch... and bought Breath of the Wild again. Too bad saves don’t transfer though...

As someone of Taiwanese descent, makes me wanna go back in time and kill Mao.

Mandarin is actually also pretty global, also spoken in Hong Kong, Macau (ok those two technically are Chinese), Taiwan (at least has a few years of common history with China, and was annexed by a small Chinese elite that sinofied the Island), and also Indonesia, Malaysia, some parts of India.

Don’t worry, Mother 3 will be a secret unlockable game in the Super Nintendo Mini. Yes, I know it’s technically a GBA game, but that would make it all the more surprising!

Practically anywhere in the world, school pupils have english classes. I think most of Europe has elementary school kids already having to learn English as mandatory classes.

Nintendo could blow everyone’s mind by hiding Mother 3 in the SNES Classic... you have to finish every game on it, then Mother 3 gets unlocked.

Cool! Looking forward to it then. I have already bought Shovel Knight on Switch, havent played it yet.

I haven’t played Plague of Shadows yet, but does it also allow you to customize the trajectories of bullets (straight, curve, wave, homing, crawler, etc.), the distribution (single, spread, burst), attack power, element, size, shape, dissipation (i.e. what happens after impact), and pass-through (objects or enemies or

I think I would enjoy it too. I actually backed it, but I haven’t played it yet. I don’t know maybe the negative press killed my interest (which is weird, because usually I don’t get flustered by that).

I think Inti Creates basically implemented it from Comcept’s design work, so they’re not responsible for awful design decisions.

To be fair, most of the problems of MN9 came from its design, which was handled by Comcept. Inti-Creates just developed it.

Oh, and the Gunvolt series is also pretty interesting!

Inti Creates are kind of like the japanese Wayforward or Yacht Games. They make really good shooting platformers. They also did the Megaman Zero and ZX series.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst is also on 3DS.

Which Harvest Moon? And what estimate by who? I’m pretty certain that BD cost more than the DS Harvest Moon. By a lot. More assets, full CG movies, theme songs, voice acting, and a bigger team and longer development time.

I believe Zero Punctuation’s Yahtzee would call it “gun wank”. You Americans wouldn’t understand.

Not in my experience.

I’m sorry, I meant “shovelware”, not “vaporware”.

1$ million in dev cost is not that much... just for comparison, 900000$ is what a casual sports collection “vaporware” game cost on production on Wii back then (team of around 10, 9 months production including QA). I suspect Bravely Default have around 3-4 times the production costs considering the way larger team and
