So, I do want to add something to this, which I’ve been thinking a lot about lately. As much as I want to attribute this complete fuck-up to malice or anything particularly awful, I think there’s a high possibility a lot of these 1,500 kids missing are people who voluntarily left their sponsors to go to live with

Normally I side with the victim but in cases like this where there are serious credibility issues I just go with whichever side shouts the loudest on Kinja.

Seems a little dishonest not to include the part where the victim said he wasn’t actually walking back the story at all.

The picture where he’s being disrespectful but not actually touching her?

It might be an awkward thing to say, but is not being attracted to an ethnicity really racism? Do we get to decide who we’re attracted to?

I think it’s more likely that they didn’t keep proper track of to whose custody they were paroling children. The story doesn’t confirm that any individual children were handed over to human traffickers, but the fact that HHS doesn’t know where the children are or if the people who took custody of them were actually

Moses wrote an extremely compelling piece, which should be read - independent of Dylan’s claims about Woody (which Moses makes a reasonable case against), the details of Mia’s abusive and mercurial treatment of her kids is the closest thing I’ve ever read to the original book “Mommie Dearest” (not the campfest film,

I believe she could be, could is the operative word here. The waters have definitely been muddied but there has also been physical abuse allegations against Mia. Now I don’t know if that’s just to discredit her or what. But whenever people try to discredit Dylan they bring that up. My opinion is that those aren’t

I believe Mia Farrow could be a piece of shit and also believe that Dylan was molested.

Probably something similar to when he admitted he didn’t pay taxes

How did this prick find anyone willing to lend him enough to get “millions in debt?” Oh, that’s right: fame, even if it’s for being a racist murderer, makes you a “celebrity,” and people just throw money at celebrities.

You know what’s “crass and unauthorized”? Child molestation. Do we have any comment on that from the Jackson estate?

I can envision a scenario where the major players involved weren’t victims of abuse as children, so they didn’t realize they were sending the wrong message. Once people that do know about such things saw it, they explained to the filmmakers how it’s problematic and the filmmakers removed the troubling scene.

If anyone but a physician / medical doctor offers me a pill I would tell them to fuck right off.

The way these scenes were described were almost exactly what I went through as a kid by my abuser. “this is normal, just relax. This is how it’s done, you’re fine, think of something else.”

Totally agree. I’m really surprised Jez is being so dismissive of this. FWIW, the same thing was noted by non partisan Common Sense Media. Their language was more of an objective description of the scene, but it is what it is: wrong.

I’m shocked at the tone of this article. Just because it’s a conservative group doesn’t mean that they couldn’t be right on this one thing.

I typically disagree with this group but yea, rape jokes. Not a great look.

Is it part of being an actress or a franchise like that where you would take a pill someone you don’t know offers you? Like was she intimidated to say no? I took x from some german guys at a club in NY but I was a kid and dumb.

A) I don’t know if it’s common knowledge that “masseuse” is female.
