That could easily be the fault of the production company and not Ulta.

Thanks for the Game of Thrones GIF. We all know that’s a great place to get morals and stuff.
Also swimsuits?
Stop returning makeup and underwear
There is a difference between lore and reality. Here’s what the catalog said in 1984:
Where? All I’ve seen is people complaining that their own personal interpretation of the policy isn’t being honored by LL Bean. Not that LL Bean lied, just that people didn’t bother to find out what the policy meant and decided it was the best possible interpretation that benefited them.
It amazes me that people refuse to understand or accept this.
you have a lifetime replacement guarantee
Well, a ‘lifetime’ guarantee is a guarantee for the estimated life of the PRODUCT - not like, YOUR lifetime. If a product becomes worn out after two years of reasonable use, and it is designed to function for 10, then yes; the guarantee applies. If your boots are supposed to last 10 years and they fall apart after 12,…
It was a lifetime guarantee to be free of defect. If your husband used the bag frequently and it wore down to normal wear and tear, that’s not defect or poor design. Their advertising was not “the only bags you’ll ever need because we’ll replace them ad infinitum”.
Lawyers are the worst! And I say that as a lawyer. Sure this guy is complaining about it, but it’s the lawyers who are taking it, most likely on contingency, just to get their name on a national case that are to blame. And then it’s these b.s. cases that get pointed to in the name of tort reform, when no one wants…
As a long time LL Bean customer myself, I feel the same way.
I am not at all surprised someone has filed a class action because of course. This new policy has been THE story in Maine media for the last couple of days (duh) and the overwhelming reaction to it has been “ehh, that’s a bit annoying but after hearing about what others have been doing to them, it makes sense.”
The New Yorker did an article a few years ago on this policy and it sounded like a lot of the “returns” were scammy.
Didn’t say any of that, now did I? There’s no getting around that he’s an inappropriate prick. But his behavior re: her appearance/what she wore isn’t an uncommon thing for performers. Not saying that’s right either, but it’s the reality.
It’s worth nothing that he did too. Ever noticed that he used to have super long hair then around this time he cut it? I think it was a coordinated look
It could be control, it could be that he thought her hairstyle didn’t go with the band’s aesthetic. Again, he’s seems like a lil douchebag so I’m not ruling the control bit out.
As well as a hideous fleece jacket she insisted upon wearing multiple times. Again, when you’re a performer, you get asked to do lots of appearance-related things. For example, my high school drama teacher had me dye my hair for a show.
If you read the court docs, White sounds like an immature douchebag for sure. On the other hand, if you’re a paid member of someone else’s band (i.e., their vision), they usually get a say in what you wear during performances and shoots. If someone in my (imaginary) band wore a fucking zip up fleece jacket to a…
This may not be a popular opinion, but the female reporter using the “me too” hashtag because she didn’t get called upon is bullshit. Have some respect for what the movement is about.
