I print them to frame. I used to think this rare occurance justified me having a fancy color printer, but realized quickly that they were more trouble than they were worth. Expensive, clog-prone cartridges and finicky heads left me unable to even print B&W for normal things, let alone the few times I needed color.

bahahah bril

As a believer, there's something really beautiful about this one.

We've all got our crosses to bear.

This is a great idea, although as mentioned, it could be cool if it carried a charge as well. I wonder, though, how well it would work for me. I have an Evo 4G LTE from Sprint, and I've noticed it doesn't charge well through the USB, like when it's connected to a computer. I'm not sure if it's just this phone, or

Agreed. BUT it's still pretty cool. Is it weird that I look forward more to being the hero for someone else, than for having it to charge my own phone? heh...

For such a time as this.

If that's the case, I'd suggest highlighting the trustworthiness examples. Leadership opportunities you've had, instances where you were trusted with something/someone important, people you've trained and materials you've created. Sometimes that goes a longer way to describing what you offer than a straight job

Have you had someone you trust and admire look over your resume? Unless your situation is very particular, that kind of track record usually means there's something wrong with your resume. What industry are you looking in, and what's your previous job experience like?

As someone who looks at a lot of resumes, I can say that the biggest turn-off for me with job-hoppers is the lack of responsibilities at any given job. I'm looking for signs of trust from previous employers — leadership responsibilities like training, mentoring, managing, and building. It takes time for companies

Drei Drachen kriechen in meinen Schlaf.

The only thing worse than bad subject lines are BLANK subject lines. They all get grouped together as a massive conversation of random crap in my Outlook.

Actually, infants are the easiest. Things hit the fan when they get to be about 2.

My wife and I will sometimes drive separate, in case one of us has to make a quick exit mid-meltdown. This has only happened twice, and as we were waiting for the bill. Both times were with friends, so my wife wasn't left alone. But we do it even when it's just us, sometimes, as the last-resort option.

OMG dont' even get me started on the weird hosting back-end. The process to get a domain working, and get FTP to work properly, is needlessly roundabout.

Holy cow ... looking at the comments below, I realize I'm not alone. I felt a little bad about my comment, but not anymore.

Oh man, we have had a lot of problems with Dreamhost. Our hosted sites go down on a weekly basis. The staff is helpful, and the fixes relatively quick, but they happen very often. I hate to naysay on a deal, but this might be a you-get-what-you-pay-for situation.

One great way to get around old mandatory software and locked down machines is to use portable software. Things like Chrome, Firefox, Paint.net, and PDFXchange can make a huge difference, and run right off a USB stick.
