I guess but the Lucid was the fastest production car EVER around Laguna Seca. It beat the Ferrari LaFerrari by like 2 seconds. If you’re talking about driving capability and cornering, this <$200k family sedan beat a $1.4 million supercar.

what will the cargo space be? The Prius prides itself on being a roomy hatchback. Does the new styling and 1-inch lower roofline affect the trunk and rear-seats-down cargo space?

The maximum output from the electric motor is only available in 10-second bursts. The rest of the time it delivers a more reasonable 94 hp.

I agree the car is ND but what’s the issue with coilovers?

Damn, maybe the Fiat Uno I saw on Google Maps Brazil wasn’t a glitch.

It looks like an old Alfa or Merc trying to be American

Everything seems great but 3800+ pounds is pretty damn heavy for a 2-door sports car that isn’t a super car. Sure the 453hp helps but its crazy how heavy these are getting.

oh that’s hot, that’s real hot

I couldn’t tell what actually caused the fireball and where the tank was on the plane that caused it to spray like that onto the road. So Neutral’s description was useful for me.

That whole 2003-2008 generation of Nissans were so hideous, bulbous, and plasticky. The maxima generation right afterwards however looked fantastic and much more like a real Japanese 4DSC.

Yeah I’m so used to worrying about traffic that I don’t even think about scenery or the boring-ness of driving haha. I just wanna get ther ein one piece. Also the northeast definitely isn’t the prettiest place to drive in the country. There are some nice and pretty drives but nothing astonishing like the PCH, Blue

Are they good boring or bad boring? Good boring for me is if they generally follow the “Left lane is for passing” law and if most people don’t drive painfully slow in good straight flat conditions. Even if the scenery is lacking.

I’m from the northeast and have driven in all states from Maine to Southern Virginia.

We need an in-depth article on the Chinese car market. I was shocked by literally every sentence rocknroll_jeph said about Beijing car market. I’d love to know more.

Can confirm, having a 2-door in college isn’t the best. ‘10 G37 coupe with a 6mt. It’s not as awful as expected, but a 4-door for friends + decent luggage space + back-seat room for activities could do me some wonders. Moving to and from college every fall is a game of “I can’t believe this all fit in there” while not

I agree. that’s drivers are fighting for, including being seen as employees as opposed to independent contractors. But these companies are holding out strong against moves like that. And I dont believe food delivery isn’t going anywhere. It may take on the form of different companies but the idea and convenience is

I used to deliver for DoorDash and UberEats not too long ago for a year or so. We’re wasting time arguing about tipping vs no tipping when the real question is why are drivers deciding to pick up orders based on tips?

And the answer is because base pay (the base Uber/DD is required to pay you for doing a delivery,

Yeah. I’m 6'1 but pretty leg-dominant. Driving my friend’s NB was quite an annoyance, especially when getting on and off the clutch. Pretty cramped with my knee nearly brushing against the bottom of the dash. It wasn’t unbearable but it would not be enjoyable long-term.

Smart doesn’t only make the ForTwo, they also make the ForFour which is larger/longer. Although this is bigger, at least by American standards, being the size of a Mini Countryman/length of a Kia Rio is still small enough to be a city car. Plus the electric range is great. Though you’re right that it’s no ForTwo.

    of Zero dollars.
