I once had a job installing a Starbucks inside a grocery store. Which was insane as you could walk out the door and see a Starbucks in the parking lot. And across the road in another strip mall there was another Starbucks, plus a 2nd coffee shop. If you walked to the main drag, aka Main Street, and looked to the left,

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing Dinesh D’Souza he had charisma.

And for all his gourmand tendencies, wasn’t above shilling for Cousins, a Wisconsin-based sub chain!

I miss trip hop like the deserts miss the rain, mostly when it mixed with other styles like the first Nitin Sawhney productions or when it got dark and experimental, but it was a style that was killed by both the pomposity of many offerings at the end of the 90s (the cinematic trip hop ballads with full orchestra) and

Here we go again.

Not really. The batteries in EVs are not at all the same as the batteries in a power tool. The fact is that the batteries in these cars are babied to death. What do batteries hate? Heat. So these batteries are cooled with refrigerated liquid. Furthermore, they are never fully charged or discharged. They operate in a

Meh, I forget and got used to it.

17. Did you just come from somewhere that required masks, and you just forgot to take it off?

I’m just driving down the street from one place where a mask is necessary to another so I”m not going to take it off.

I wear it if I’m stopping to go inside the gas station just up the road from my job. No point in taking it off for a couple minutes only to put it on again.

Right - it’s my understanding that you’re not supposed to take off your mask until you’re at your final destination. Wash your hands, put on your mask, leave it on for the whole time you’re out, and then take it off and either throw it out if it’s disposable or put it in the wash, and then wash your hands again. I

Exactly this, prevents further face touching and the added bonus of staying in the habit of always having a mask on. I get really mad when I see people leaving their cars without a mask, open a restaurant door or something still maskless and then go touch their face finally putting a mask on after touching a dirty ass

Wearing a mask keeps you from touching your face. Maybe they just want to not touch their face until they can get home and wash their hands?

If I put the mask on for the first stop of my errands, and the next one isn’t too far, I leave it on just so I’m not putting it on and taking it off -- something a friend who’s a nurse advised to avoid contamination or spreading germs around. It looks dumb, but I’m ok with it.

I don’t even know how to process this comment.  I mean ... wha?  I think you are subjectively wrong on every single take, and I’m fairly certain you’re actually objectively wrong on most of them too.

It almost sound like they’re confusing 2000 with like 2003 or 2004.

To commemorate 60 years of the Billboard Hot 100, Off The Charts revisits each year since it was established to spotlight songs and artists that didn’t make the cut, yet still made a significant impact.

Careful there, you might cut yourself on that edge.

Love The New Photographers.

Nearly burned myself on that hot take.
