1. the police didn’t drop the charges, the prosecutor did. the police, including the black chief of police were apoplectic over  it.

had low expectations and the movie met them in story and exceeded them in fan service. Not sure I’d have gone that way. more than half the movie seemed only in service of giving every single character still alive (in real life and on screen) a moment. it made for a halting and stuttering story. overall, I enjoyed it,

I remember a video series about a woman who got permission to visit and did so on motorcycle.  seems to me to have been 10 or 15 years ago.. spooky. and I’ll pass on an actual visit, thanks.

the director said they started to have the actors speak in russian accents and it sounded like a parody - Boris and Natasha.  I have limited vision and can’t read subtitles. Russian actors who speak english aren’t plentiful, and I never gave the accents used a second thought - in fact, I was happy they didn’t try to

WWDITS is my favorite new thing this year.

I loved that show a ton. rewatched it last summer and it still holds up. n

I hope they find a nice part for Garret Dillahunt to play.  he was fabulous in both parts he played in the original series.

hoopleheads forever.

Only three seasons of Deadwood  is a crime against humanity.  a two hour capper is only a small measure of solace.

team smart dragon. Drogon laying covered with snow, he looked depressed - like even he knew what Dani did was some seriously bad mojo. he, like Jon, loved his queen, but knew that he was going to have to do more shitty things on her command.

so few people know or understand Bran’s powers, there was less exposition of that than there was Dani’s descent into madness.

This season could have been improved immeasurably by simply exploiting Bran’s powers more effectively in front of more people.  as it is, all the lords of westeros gave power to a kid in a

We’ll never see the likes of him again.

a complete waste of time and energy.  it’s a freaking TV show for cripes sake.

Littlefinger knew what Ramsey would do. he just didn’t think Sansa would turn smart/hardass. He thought a broken woman would be just as easy to manipulate and he was always super confident in his powers of manipulation and deceit. that was his mistake, not knowing how strong Sansa would grow, and that Arya and Bran wou

I could fix this season in the final episode.

if tv or movie dramas weren’t unbelievable, they’d be boring.

So, does Cersei at the balcony talking about how the Lannister army would  protect the red keep, that all we needed was one good shot, that everything was fine - remind you of Hitler in the bunker at the end of ww2, moving imaginary armies to already lost fronts?

I get wanting to spend so much time on the feminist view of Dani’s actions,.. Don’t try to put a 21st century sensibility on what is essentially an 8th century world.  this is the ultimate feminist outcome. it shows that women and men are no different, they’re bot weak and strong, good and evil, no matter your gender,

Dani or Yara will get that honor.  Probably Yara. she really wants it.

in the show she said that she waited until he was drunk and finished him off in other ways.
