am I the only one who sees Harrenhal and the Gods Eye lake in the opening title sequence?  everyone assumes it’s kings landing, but it’s clearly in the neck of westeros, not the southeast.   there be magic and where the series will end.

I agree, but I’m giving them a break - it’s going to be a tough go tying the hundreds of story threads up in a nice and tidy bow.  which is probably why GRRM is having such a hard time writing his books.  He’s started way too many stories to finish them all.

Yeah, I noticed that too. he’s looking more tired now than he did on his worst BB day.  Still, great. Just tired.

I’ve seen shows with longer and worse montages and less story advancement than BCS.  Last week’s cold open was essential for the story.  6 months of building a lab, jimmy selling drop phones and Kim kicking corporate ass could not have been executed more deftly.  twee cover version and all.
