Step 1: Watch something else.

I will pass. I have zero interest in the Democratic side. I like working and keeping my money instead of giving everything away for free and raising my taxes. If Bernie Wins, expect 80% of your pay check to pay for all the free stuff he wants to give people.

They are all old and white.

Man, the Democratic slate is awfully...

Huh... nothing but old white people.

Hmmm... who’d have thought that if you pre-judge someone without all the facts, you’re probably going to be wrong.

It’s okay to not like sport hunting, and it is okay to think it is disgusting but remember that is your opinion. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with hunting for sport(I don’t do it because I don’t care to) but as long as the animal is legal to hunt I don’t have a problem. So although lions may be protected in

Logical thinking is not a strong suit of these people so I’m afraid your completely true and logical comment will be lost on them.

Nope, he was legal... the guide was illegal. The dentist is not being charged because he had the paperwork for a legal hunt, the guide for whatever reason decided to take him on an illegal hunt.

I’m not a fan of trophy hunting, especially when it come to non-food species like lions. That said, there likely is a need to cull the population of some predators. This is especially true in areas where farming has converted a substantial amount grass land to crop land, with a reduction in prey herd sizes.

Lol, I love it when people get their comeuppance. Nah, the people who tried to ruin this mans life without having all the facts are the assholes. This guy is just a hunter.

Uhhh because a bunch of idiots attempted to ruin this mans life before all the facts came out about the case? That this man(as he claimed) did have all his papers in order but the guide he hired took him on an illegal hunt?

I don’t think any apology will get his and his family’s lives back in order anytime soon. Yes he did something many people don’t like, but vandalizing his house and threatening his family? We can all be really really stupid sometimes.

The problem is that he was no different really than any other hunter doing the same thing — yet somehow his particular case warranted death threats against him and his entire family.

The alternative is that the people who live in the same areas as the lions, on the grounds of being dangerous beasts, will just kill them all if they give no benefit to their community by attracting rich foreigners willing to drop six digits in order to shoot a giant pussycat. A managed population of lions is much

The charges are weird, but it sounds like to me that the guide lured the lion out of the reserve, which is probably illegal. The dentist on the other hand would not be expected to know that what the guide was doing was illegal. As he had the proper permits to go lion hunting, the only crime was the luring of the lion.

My take from it is that all the papers were in order and Palmer didn't knowingly do anything wrong, but there was misconduct on the part of the guide. Who will probably be hanged or something.

No, the point is that the guide MADE the hunt illegal by luring the protected lion out of the sanctuary to be shot. The dentist was there hunting legally and, according to the authorities, did not know that the guide was doing something illegal.

Palmer did not commit a crime. His guide probably did. Simplified enough?
