Are you for real? I couldn’t have asked for a better example to support my “moron” statement. Thanks.

Sorry, but I don’t feel any sympathy for all these people who thronged to Vegas, Phoenix and SoCal despite the fact that they are located in the DESERT and the entire area is clearly not capable of sustaining large urban population. Add to this the fact that a huge percentage of households also have a fucking pool and…
Raising the cost of water in draught areas = raising the cost of living = people not moving to, or people moving away from, these difficult to habitat places = less people = less water used = problem solved.
Las Vegas gets most of it’s water from Lake Mead but most of Lake Mead’s water goes to California. Just as most of it’s power goes to California.
Or you could just do without content that isn’t available in your area. It might incentivize the companies to bring it there.
well ... been using paypal for ... 4-5 years i think. never had any issues with them. not saying these stories are not valid but you know ... pretty sure that for every one of these stories there are an extra few hundred or maybe more success stories otherwise paypal wouldn’t be so popular.
So, all of a sudden PayPal is evil, or did I miss some articles these past months?
I’m sorry, but that whole “I didn’t even know I had a paypal credit” is such a bullshit. One must go through setup, then there are monthly emails.
I haven’t had any issues with Paypal. I sell various things on ebay, but I do lots of buying through Paypal. Works great for me.
I know the horror stories sell ink, but keep in mind that the vast, vast majority of PayPal transactions go off without a hitch.
freedom of speech is in the constitution. if they dont want negative things in comments, then dont tweet in the first place. just because you tweet something, doesnt mean it is true or the correct opinion. yours is out there, so expect to get opinions in return. trolling twitter is fun, and if you cant handle being…
It’s usually NC State that gets forgotten in discussions involving Duke and UNC.
I’ve lived in the Research Triangle region for 21 years (this includes Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, plus the town of Cary - where SAS is located). There is growth in high tech companies (this is also the WW Headquarters for Lenovo - the PC company, as well), plus lots of banking roles. You have healthcare (Glaxo…
Unless Cisco started there, im sure the school plays a significant factor. Especially if they have strong departments in the areas that the companies are interested in. They can draw upon the graduates of those departments and even have some influence as to what is taught because of the financial contribution that the…
Hmmm. My one interaction with PayPal support was outstanding. Some failed haxor got someone to send money to my account in the assuming he had control over it (two factor auth, he can suck it). I had to send the money back to the guy who got scammed. PayPal support was awesome and took care of it.
Odd.. I’ve sold and bought at least 100k worth of stuff with PayPal, both on and off of eBay and never had an issue like this.
There are so many horror stories about Paypal and it sucks that people have had those experiences. I use Paypal for things every single day and I’ve never had a single problem. I wish everyone who had to deal with them could have my experience because it’s been awesome for the past 10+ years.
PayPal didn’t agree to pony up the money within a day of the complaint. They were negotiating a settlement with CFPB before a complaint was ever filed. The complaint is filed so that it has the weight of a court order behind it.
I love PayPal! I have never had a problem with them. They even helped me dispute and get my money back from a vendor that the BBB couldn’t resolve. I guess everyone different experiences.
