The Lord of the Rings movies were not made in the US. This is a simple act of people who love something putting the time and effort into their costumes to recreate something that was done almost entirely with CG stand-ins. So of course it looks more realistic than the movies.

I think the only real difference between TMs and HMs now that they’ve made all TMs reuseable is the fact that HMs can’t be forgotten without visiting a specialist.

For your next foray in the series, I would STRONGLY suggest Fire Red. Just plain-old Red, if you can stomach the lack of accoutrements.
The original games inform the series so much that it is weird to me to think that people came in after those and were able to enjoy it.

I think an individual Digimon usually looks cooler than an individual Pokemon. They’re usually more imaginative than just “weird animal.”

Man, I LOVED the Digimon cartoon so much more than the Pokemon one. Was re-watching an episode the other day and the English dub was amazingly funny!
