If it’s anything like the anime for Persona 4 it should be pretty funny. The best decision they ever made was give the protagonist more lines.

Isn’t the Switch region-free? I wonder how many Japanese gamers have opted to try buying from NA/EU sellers.
I like your point about Sam being on the outside looking in. The maesters in Oldtown are so dissociated from the main events but life goes on, as exemplified by Archmaester Marwyn’s dialogue with Sam in episode 1 (he talks about various past events that caused everyone to think the end was near, like Robert’s…
Thank you for reminding me of eki ben. On top of being delicious that steam-heating technology is basically magic! I remember in Odaiba I had a faux pas when I was trying on a shirt and stepped into the change booth - twice - with my shoes on. The retail associate gave me the oddest look. Lesson learned.
I have the original downloaded for the PSP. Before the remake I played it for practice and the fact that it was only d-pad compatible made it difficult to collect all boxes in certain levels (especially the boulder and hog levels).
Broken Social Scene! I have this one on repeat
Is there an option to just have the original license board? Also, are Espers still tied to the characters of your choosing forever? That’s kinda what prevented me from ever using them at all.
I’m a little biased because I’m a Calgary fan...Gaudreau got just under 7 (the same AAV as Giordano actually) even though I think he’s worth much more. I’d say they’re worth at least what Tarasenko makes at 7.5.
I don’t understand why Draisaitl’s ask is 9 million, Eberle scored 76 in 78 games in his second season and that earned him “only” 6 million (Drai scored 77 in 82 this season). Has he really proven to be versatile? It seems like he was only really effective on McDavid’s wing and not as the second line center.
It sounds like the original soundtracks are intact so I’m hella excited (Crash 2 snow levels here I come).
I’m glad Kariya made it. Selanne was a lock-in for sure. Still can’t forget one of the best calls in hockey during the ‘03 finals (this was after he got rocked by Stevens and nobody knew if he’d return to the game):
I think it’s a great way to introduce players to the episodic model IO was attempting, because you go through the same mission a few times before getting free reign to tackle it anyway you choose. It teaches you the amount of replay value they put in their levels. I was personally all for the model as I only had…
I’d take Kyoto over Tokyo any day of the week, the vibes are more relaxed and nature-oriented. The best thing I did in Japan though was meet up with a YouTuber and go on touge and drift runs on Myogi and Haruna with the locals...I don’t think you’d ever find that in a tour guide!
Wow, Focus Blast is also quite risky (70% hit rate) on top of not having Focus Sash. I suppose this is why Pheromosa is scary because it can run physical, special or mixed sets while outspeeding most of the metagame.
LOL I wish this was real. It’d make me return to the series
That’s an awesome situation to be in. While SFIV is my personal favorite game in the series, to this day I argue that Third Strike the most fun to watch in all of FGC. Yes the tiers are lopsided (too many Chuns, Yuns and Kens) but it’s the odd lower tier character players like Kuroda and RX that I will never get tired…
I highly recommend the Mario Kart tour if you have your international license and are planning to drive in Japan. Granted it takes you through the basic landmarks like Odaiba and the Tokyo Tower. If you don’t want to drive but experience it you can ride in a tuk-tuk. It’s not terribly expensive and gets you acclimated…
I love Mondo Grosso! This one’s my favorite track (hard to believe it’s two decades old, it sounds contemporary):
I really hope IO can find a new publisher soon. Hitman is one of the best sandbox series in my opinion, and the dark humor is top notch.
I got back last week from a Japan trip that partly included checking out the mountain racing scene...there was a yellow cappuccino that did touge runs on Mt. Myogi (didn’t catch the fella’s name though). We got footage but it’ll take time to parse through all of it.
