Aside from the far too brief glimpse of Deathstroke's mask...and it was only his mask so we don't even know if Slade is going to appear in this thing, that trailer was painful. The music was terrible and "I am Arrow" WTF?

I thought the same exact thing

I think you got the Natalie Dormer and her character name reversed #corrections

It's not about being smart or clever there's simply no need to change it. The TMNT origin story is simple and straightforward. We don't need a richer backstory to it, the backstory the characters already had is rich enough. What we need is a rich FRONT story for them to take part in. But Michael Bay will fuck that up

I wonder what Dan Harmon thinks of this. Personally I kinda feel like an Inspector Spacetime web series takes the joke too far anyway. Harmon said at the Nerdist show in SF that the plan was to allow the internet to have fun with Inspector Spacetime (as they have) and then allow that mythology to feedback into the

Having seen a couple of "unorthodox taxidermy" pieces here at one of the Seuss galleries in SF I thought that was what I was looking at, but nope this just seems like a blatant ripoff.

This really should only happen if Matt Mira and Jonah Ray do it. They've been talking about a BTTF musical from Goldie Wilson's POV on the Nerdist podcast for quite a while now.

2 of the dwarves from "Pit Boss" on Animal Planet are in "Mirror, Mirror?" Nice! It's about time they got some real work.

I saw MI:GP yesterday at the San Francisco IMAX and I couldn't understand Bane at all. A word here and there but nowhere near enough. It was really bad.

That is definitely the Robin logo. Nice touch art department.

Donner's Superman? You mean the one where Superman flies around the globe and it spins backward to reverse time? That's quality right there.

You're right the Marvel movies have a lot of input from Marvel and that's why they are outstanding comic book movies. The DC movies on the other hand are not. DC movies have too much WB getting involved and not enough DC. It's murky who is to blame for Green Lantern, but I don't think that it was Geoff Johns.

…and it was mostly for worse. Nolan is the only name in your list who made "good" movies out of a comic book hero and he chose to erase any notion of that hero existing in a comic book universe.

The starship was named after the aircraft carrier, the space shuttle was named after the starship.

Ben-Gali seems thrown in for symmetry since Lynx-O and Pumyra aren't there. Should have been Jaga.

Romulus was destroyed post-TNG. The ship Spock flies into the past was built by post-Starfleet Geordie and Data

I honestly wouldn't make a movie at all. I think that Doctor Who is working perfectly in the format that it is in. Involving a studio and a bigger budget that requires a bigger return on investment is only going to brings more cooks to the kitchen spoiling the pot.

apparently he almost was just as Matt Smith was almost Sherlock. I think they both ended up in the right roles though and wouldn't have it any other way.

So basically remake the Cushing movies...no thanks.

Rose may not have mentioned the past but it had the benefit of more episodes following it up. It didn't have to tell the whole story in 45 minutes because they knew they had more episodes to accomplish that. A two hour movie doesn't have that benefit.
