I am beside myself. I am so disappointed in all of us! I must go weep into my champagne.

Seriously... Caffeine?

What is this, like a Mormon naughtiness bracket?

THANK YOU!!! That's been my reaction ever since I first saw this. I can't think of a single reason to bust out a cell phone while driving 60 mph, in traffic, on wet roads, at all. Get out of the tailgater's way, get his license plate if you can, and report his reckless driving to the police once you're safely out of

But Asian people aren't the butt of the joke. Colbert himself is. The whole joke is that he's an insensitive moron. Nothing negative about actual Asian people is said or implied.

I really don't think "a minority group" was the butt of his joke, unless you're counting 'People who own NFL teams' as the minority in question. And the fact that Colbert is a privileged white male is part of the joke - most of the jokes are that he is the most privileged of all people.

Which joke, the show segment or the tweet? Because, as was explained pretty clearly, he didn't send the tweet, which was largely devoid of the context of the joke.

I think the tweet is a separate matter from the show's bit which is a separate matter from the intent of the original bit referenced in the show. Which is a separate matter from my disappointment in Jez's coverage. I JUST WANT SOME NUANCE, PEOPLE! I know it's hard to inject nuance into twitter, the internet, and TV

They mostly switched from novelty clothes to basics a couple of years ago. I think the clothes are generally inoffensive, and fit great.

Yes I am aware of Terry Richardson's history, however there is very little mention of him or his actions in this article. Context is important, of course, but the statement "This is a sexist picture" doesn't hold up to me in this article. All I'm seeing is an article that is saying a woman in a sexual position is

addendum: this article reminds me of this cartoon -

I'm confused about why this is sexist. I am not saying that I would want someone (especially a stranger) to take upskirt pictures, but let's be real here.

The picture is pornographic. Okay fine, I don't find pornographic images to be necessarily sexist, especially in scenarios like this where the model is a

It's not actually sawdust. You know that, right?

I'm so sorry MSG causes you problems but wanted to note that not *all* migraine sufferers are sensitive to MSG. I get multiple migraines every month but have no problems with pizza (or anything else with MSG in it as far as I know).

In China, MSG is waaay more prevalent than salt. You can get it at the supermarket in big ol' bags. Salt...not so much. And China doesn't exactly have rampant MSG-related health problems!

Dude, seriously? Imma need the Jez writers to check out Wisegeek or something before submitting these hysteria-inducing articles.

Isn't the "Food Babe" the same blogger who got everyone up in arms about THE CHEMICALS IN YOGA MATS ARE IN BREAD!!1!1!!! but then neglected to mention that, oh, I don't know, tofu contains drywall and organic farmers use pesticides—loads of them—derived from turpentine?
