Quick Q:
For all the hate, vitriol, subtle and overt racism that was aimed at this man over the last eight years, did he not handle it with uncommon grace and dignity? I never asked President Obama to be a perfect President, such a thing is an impossibility. But he played the long game, never panicked, never showed fluster,…
No, we can’t. Texas has loads of good people in it, people who are as outraged as you are about this. There are African-Americans, Hispanics, Asians. Hell, there are something like 84 languages spoken in Harris County alone (Houston). There are blue counties from El Paso all down the valley, Travis County, Dallas…
I am not certain and I am TERRIFIED. Take my stepdad for example - he is a staunch Republican who will close his eyes and vote for Donald just because he is Republican. I’m talking about a *fairly* intelligent man voting for this bafoon simply because he has been a Republican his whole life and won’t change now.
As much fun as it is to watch the GOP freak out, this maniac should not be this close to any public office. It doesn't matter if everyone is sure that the Democrats can beat him, he should not be in a position to potentially become POTUS. I'm scared and I'm not even American.
I think that what the Academy didn’t consider is that 99%+ of Americans have NO CLUE who Stacey Dash is. None. I guarantee you that not a single one of my friends or family members (okay, maybe my sister) have even heard her name before.
This show would be a thousand times better if it was mostly just Lucifer and the kid. Screw this buddy cop crap, make him more of a Mr Doubtfire.
It’s cute. Don’t expect any depth, just a nice bit of fun. Apparently it’s nothing like the comics, very much its own thing.
I’m having fun with it, too. It’s a cute, light little frippery, a nice way to pass the time, and it doesn’t demand close attention. Sometimes that sort of thing is just right.
“Is this too advanced for her?”
I like it and I think the fact that he tells everyone is hilarious.
They’re outraged that the new Fox show Lucifer makes the Dark Lord look like a “likable guy” who’s “cool and irresistible to women.
To be fair, he’s also irresistible to men; I’m sure that makes it better. :)
He is exceedingly attractive.
Eh, I love procedurals and find them endlessly entertaining, so I actually don’t find it boring at all. And I really like how open Lucifer is about his identity, because I do find the secret identity thing to be really exhausting.
I figured I’d give it one episode just to say I watched it. I came back for a second because it intrigued me. Now, I look forward to it each week. It isn’t a bad little show—they are playing around with the whole “How bad is the devil, really?” thing and I like it.
They’re just upset that he’s a man of wealth and taste. He’s been around for long, long years and he’s stolen many a man’s soul and faith. I mean, he was around when Jesus Christ had his moments of doubt and pain. Didn’t you know he made damn sure that Pilate washed his hands and sealed his fate.
Right but just to be clear. Lucifer is REALLY FUCKING SEXY in this show. Like. really really really sexy.
Lucifer is a classic case of so bad, it’s good. It’s hot trash, but it’s my hot trash.
