Usually when he’s drunk, so there’s that...but it’s this entitlement and delusion that because he once ‘had’ me, he can have me…

You CAN force someone to go to and participate in therapy, though - like drug rehab, a judge can make “successful completion of an anger management course” part of a plea deal to avoid prison, for example.

Here’s the problem- there’s an old joke: How many therapists does it take to change a lightbulb? Only one, but the lightbulb has to want to change.
