He was re-elected over and over because at the time, the “voting public” (white people) in Georgia were just as bigoted and racist as he was.

So what you don’t get is why Girl Scouts evolved with the times while Boy Scouts did not? Or what you don’t get is why a single deep woods camp was given from the Girl Scouts to the Boy Scouts?

Fully, completely agree.

While I agree that everyone should support gun control, that “majority” you’re talking about is nonsense. The US is 51% women, that’s all. We’ll need some help from you dudes if we’re going to get anything done.

And?

Yep. So wanting a part is fine, right? And we know that being “difficult to work with” is basically code for “Won’t fuck the producer.”

To be fair, the question was what his FIRST impression was, not what his belief is now, right?

I mean, shit, we know for a fact that her parents are awful people, I can’t imagine that they were terribly careful about who else she was around.

I’m starting to question every story of a “crazy” actress I’ve ever heard due to #metoo. Was she really being that crazy or did she refuse to fuck someone important?

I wonder how much of that is due to the steroids she probably has to take for her autoimmune disorder.

From what I understand, she signed the back of the ticket because she thought she had to do that to get the money, which she didn’t. In New Hampshire, there’s a law that says you can stay anonymous if you want to, but if you sign the ticket, you waive that right. She didn’t know, it was a small mistake, and her life

There is no such stipulation. There is a state law in New Hampshire that says she can stay anonymous and she fucked up a minor thing and is trying to enforce the law anyway. That’s what this is all about.

Do you think that maybe, just maybe, the medical community should tell people the preliminary results on things like “how alcohol probably hurts your baby” before they have every piece of data you think they need? Because I sure as hell would rather scientists come out with it as soon as they know there’s an issue,

It didn’t come off as condescending to me. The resistance to science is real. I get it, I just had a baby, I was annoyed as hell at all the rules. Sure, there’s no way to completely protect yourself and sure, most lunch meat doesn’t have listeria. But shit, if we KNOW there is a risk, why not advise against it?!

So... scientists should just find out stuff that hurts pregnant women and just keep it to themselves?

I mean, give them a little credit. There’s normal behavior for a child and there’s an abnormal lack of attention in a child, and everyone knows that. The CDC isn’t just sitting in some ivory tower going “Why don’t children learn to sit still already?!”

Sometimes you have to “handle” stuff by dying in a ditch, that’s all!

No no no, you don’t understand. God didn’t give us science to help us protect ourselves, He gave us science to test our faith in Him. See, God knows that one of the worst things about humans is our insatiable curiosity and questioning of His Word, so He puts things out to see if we’ll turn to Him for the answers or

Ironic that you used a GIF of Bowie, a person who is known to have had sex with at least one child, to make this comment.

It required a study, for sure. The more data there is, the better. It’s entirely too easy for people to ignore institutionalized racism, so if you just said that was the issue, you’d get people jumping in talking about how it’s because soul food has more cholesterol or someshit. Data, REAL data, matters.
